Stable Jester: Jon Stewart

Ok, I know many of you are going HUH? Why him? I think he helps society by helping us laugh. To many times I watch CNN or the Nightly News and my head feels like it will explode. I turn on The Daily Show and Jon and his collegues make me laugh. The pain of reality doesn't hurt as much.

Also he feels pain just like the rest of us. When The Daily Show went back on air after Sept. 11th 2001 Jon became choked up on air. Looking back at the footage he epitomized how we all felt, sorrow but we knew we were Americans and we would stand together against the common enemy. After 6 years the country is now divided more than it was before 9/11 but Jon still helps us cope with everything our Government does or does not do.

So I elect Jon Stewart to the beautiful people list because he helps create laughter during troublesome times.

Fantabulous Stallion: Eddie Izzard

My first favorite celebrity who I would consider a beautiful person is Eddie Izzard.

Why?

First: He's a Humanitarian. He's a member of One.org, Amnesty International as well as some other charities in England. He's also involved with the European Union.

Second: He's a phenomenal actor. He keeps getting bit parts but after seeing him in "The Riches" I'm convinced he can be a dramatic as well as a comedic actor.

Third: He's real. More than anything that makes someone beautiful in my eyes is the ability to be themselves without reservation or fear. Eddie does that. Since coming out as a 'straight male transvestite' he's real. Whether he's in 'bloke mode' or 'girly mode' he's wears his soul on his sleeve. Not only is he real but he's beautiful as a woman and as a man he's very sexy. He also hasn't lost himself in the whole Hollywood hype. He's remained true to himself and that above everything makes someone beautiful.

So why write a blog entitled "My Stableboys"? To understand the title you need a bit of a backstory. I have a friend in Long Island, NY who when talking about actors, celebrities that we found irristable or were attracted to replied "Oh he's in my stable." I laughed but found myself wanting a stable of my own. So here's how to read my blog:

Some entries will be "Out to Pasture", these are celebrites that I found attractive at one point but no longer, I've moved on but don't want to let them go entirely.

My "Prize Stallions" are the those celebrities I have massive crushes on. "Stallions" are other celebrities who I find attractive. "New Stallions" are those men who I just found and added to my stable.

Now if an actor doesn't bat for my team I may make him a "Stable Hand". He's still working and eye candy but defintely off the field. Others may be "Stable Jester" if they make me laugh, etc.

I may or may not add a "Fillies" section for the female celebrities I find attractive. We'll see.
